But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1:8

We believe that worldwide missions is our mission. A statement of Jesus was recorded in Acts 1:8 where He gave us something of a strategy for accomplishing our mission of reaching the world. That strategy begins with Spirit-empowered Christians working together. That's why the first two facets of our missions statement are to walk with God and align with the church. On that foundation Jesus gives a game-plan of concentric circles (like a target with four rings). Jesus was speaking to the Christians in Jerusalem, so their four concentric circles were Jerusalem (home-town), Judea (home-region), Samaria (a local community of displaced people), and the uttermost parts of the earth. For Trinity, our four concentric circles of missions engagement are Texas City, the Galveston and Houston region, those near us who are outcast or downtrodden, and the entire globe through missionary partnerships.
